Writing Workshop with Laura Shaine Cunningham
Writing Workshop with Laura Shaine Cunningham
My workshop "Writing for Your Life" evolved over the course of many years writing my own two memoirs, Sleeping Arrangements and A Place in the Country and working with aspiring memoirists. The rewards were many — publication in The New Yorker, terrific reviews, bestseller-dom. BUT the main reward was internal — My spirit lightened after delving so deeply into my past that I have wanted to share this "escape from angst" with others. I have learned how to overcome the barriers and find the release and pleasure. We each have a unique story and it is so freeing and vital to write that story and share it.
